PT Petro Minas Riau (PMR)
PT Petro Minas Riau (PMR) is an Indonesian oil and gas company that was created as a special purpose business entity to help develop the Coastal Plains and Pekanbaru (CPP) production sharing contract (PSC) in the Province of Riau, and especially within the Regency of Siak. PMR will work with the PSC contractor, Bumi Siak Pusako, to maximise reserves and production from CPP which encompasses the area with the largest oil and gas future potential in Indonesia.

commitmment to exploration
PMR will take on all of BSP’s mammoth Komitmen Kerja Pasti (KKP) or exploration work commitment of over US$ 130 million. The work that is paid for through PMR’s funding of the KKP is expected to add more than 2 billion barrels to Indonesia’s oil reserves, generate more than 2,000 permanent jobs directly and 10,000 indirectly, fund the restoration and maintenance of important public places and infrastructure in Riau, help to fund forest and biodiversity conservation, and bolster the economies of the Province and its regencies. In addition, PMR hopes to develop Riau as the hub of a new, thriving and prosperous carbon capture and storage industry.
